Byzantine Lead Seal (Lead, 6.11 g. 18 mm.) Theodoros (11th century)
Obv: The Mother of God holding the medallion of Christ before her. Inscription on either side: Μ(ήτη)ρ Θ(εο)ῦ. Along the upper circumference, a circular inscription beginning with a cross at eleven o'clock: +Θ(εοτό)κε β(οή)θ(ει) τῷ σῷ δού(λῳ) Θεοδώρῳ. Border of dots.
Rev: Bust of St Theodoros holding a spear and shield. Inscription on either side: ὁ ἅ(γιος) Θεόδωρο(ς). Border of dots.
Translation: Mother of God, help your servant Theodoros.
