The highest rarity thaler of Sigismund III Vasa minted at the mint in Stockholm.
Sigismund III Vasa minted coins at the Mint in Stockholm, in the years 1594-1598 and all years of mintage without exception are now numismatic rarities. After the overthrow of the king in 1597, all the coins minted with the portrait of Sigismund III were melted down, which explains their extreme rarity.
Nicely preserved coin. Details still shatp, the background with a lot of mint luster, which in itself determines the uniqueness of the presented speciimen. Trace of the pendant above king's portrait but the surface of the coin without traces of wearing.
Undoutably the best known specimen ever auctioned in Poland.
