Pair of Weber 40 WX carburetors

This lot consists of a pair of Weber 40 WX carburetors with cast iron bodies, likely manufactured in the 1950s. They are in decent condition but will require restoration since they have been sitting on a mechanic's shelf for nearly 50 years. The mechanic specialized in modifying and tuning racing boats and speedboats.
The carburetors are not seized and show no signs of corrosion or significant wear. The presence of a black emblem plate suggests that these carburetors were intended for sport-oriented use. It is possible that, with different emblems and settings, they were also fitted to some sports cars from the 1950s.
